Excellent products and service.

This company forces charges on you. They force you to pay for a home phone in order to get internet or cable services. The internet services do not use the phone line, it's simply a way to get more money out of you. For a basic local only home phone line with no features it costs $30. For 10mbps internet I pay $40 a month. add in the cost of the phone they force you to pay for amd my total bill is $70 a month. Other companies in the state charge $70 a month for internet five times as fast, digital cable and don't force you to have a phone you don't need or want. The internet itself is stable most of the time and doesn't disconnect all of the time. Being late with a payment incurs a $5 late fee. But if the payment is too late they will disconnect services. Then they will charge you $20 to click a button and turn it back on. This is normal and understandable. What is NOT normal or understandable is when they don't disconnect your services at all and charge you a reconnect fee anyhow. I went in to pay my bill the day it was going to be disconnected. My wife was online the entire time I was gone so I know it wasn't disconnected. When I got there I was told they were disconnected and I'd have to pay $20 to reconnect. I also had to pay $50 to have them change my address to the one across the hall and have a guy come out and run new wiring rather than use what was already there. This was after being a customer for over a year.This company is greedy. They get away with it because they are the only option in town for semi-decent internet. They know this and use it against their customers. Talking to anyone in the company leads in circles, getting the same responses they were taught to give when asked about the companies lack of customer service and horrible business practices. I can only hope that another company can get here soon and run these greedy people out of business.I only give two stars because the services actually do work, otherwise it would be one.
