Client Review on MinuteMan Press

Feedback:

Don't go here.I came to this location because they were open on Saturdays. After walking in at this location no one was at the front desk. The door made a noise so I waited a while. No one came so I called them on my phone while inside and waited for someone to pick up to let them know I was at the front. I dropped off all the files necessary to print a book, as well as a sample copy done at a different location previously for them to copy. The guy helping me, I believe his name was Gary (or at least that was who left a voicemail), said they didn't have the machine necessary to bind the book, but he had someone who could. They had all the materials and information and I asked if I could get a quote when they get it from the binder before leaving the place.5 days pass and I still have yet to hear from anyone there, so I called up asking about it. The guy responsible, Gary, wasn't available so they said they would tell him and he would get back to me later or tomorrow. The next day arrives, still didn't hear from anyone. The next day comes after that, now a week later, I get a voicemail finally saying he missed me and will try again later. So I called him and asked what was going on. I was told by this guy that he "thought it was going to be too pricey, so..." he just "didn't do it." a) Isn't that my decision if it's too pricey?b) You never got back to me until a week later and only after I called!I asked how much the books cost and he couldn't give me an answer, he never got a quote. He asked why I didn't just take it to the other location and I told him because I would have to take off work. He said, "Oh." So I told him what I paid for the previous books done at that other location and stressed that this was the only thing holding me back from interviewing for a job. He sounded surprised and said yeah, he thought that was expensive and started saying what he thought the guy would charge and said he would get a quote and the guy would be available Monday. I let him know that if that didn't happen by Monday evening then I would take it somewhere else.Monday evening rolls around and I get a voicemail from Gary saying that it didn't work out and that they can't do it. I was livid, but no big surprise. So I immediately took the rest of that work day off after hearing that message to go pick up the materials (no Gary in sight, someone else handed me my stuff) and rush it to the other location an hour away before they closed. In summary:1) They wasted 9 days of my time before letting me know they couldn't do it. They do not value your time.2) I still never heard the quote.3) I had to take off work to take it somewhere else, costing me time and money and I've received no product.4) The 4 books are now taking 3 times as long to finish as they should've.5) Finally and most of all, they've potentially jeopardized my future by screwing with my timeline and window of opportunity.Worst service ever.
