I was stationed at Morón from August 1968 until I got discharged from USAF in March 1970. I was 21 and single. Need I say more? Some of the best years of my life were spent in Seville and in other parts of Spain. I'm going back to visit with my wife in 2019. It's an item that's on my bucket list. Want to visit La Giralda, La Torre de Oro, El Corte Ingles, and El Parque de Maria Luisa.

When I first landed on the air base and stepped outside the jet the air almost stunk to me but after getting use to the smell the air smelled fresh and clean. (hard to describe unless you've been there). You could look one direction and see mountains and if you looked the other direction you could see flat farm fields and olive farms. One of the best TDY's I went on. Seville isn't too far from the base either.
