This is a quiet, beautiful meditation/retreat center. Sometimes it looks like you're on an island floating amongst the clouds. Well-run, reasonably priced and far from the nearest cell-phone tower. The vegetarian food they serve is delicious. As I understand it, the food is donated by a generous grocery wholesaler to the Rinzai Zen monk who manages the center (Dokan). I find that an interesting, American take on the ancient Buddhist tradition of monks being fed by the laity. And Dokan can cook -- again, delicious.
