This Nationwide agent was NOT "on my side!" After being a customer for 10 years, my auto premium increased $1200 per year with no warning, no phone call, nothing but a bill in the mail. When I called was told due to accident (hit a cement block out of my vision in cutting a cross a retail parking lot...no one hurt...front end smashed...damage was $$$!)and when I asked why I didn't get a "heads-up notice or customer service call was told "we don't do that!" Well, I DON'T stay with a biz that doesn't honor a customer's loyalty; an agent that doesn't look out for me. So, I shopped, I interviewed agents, reviewed quotes, was forthcoming about why I was leaving Nationwide and found a caring, thoughtful agent that listened, gathered my info, consulted me in areas of my current policy that he could improve and make more cost effective. BOTTOM-LINE: effective today I am cancelling with Nationwide and becoming a very satisfied State Farm customer! I will be writing a glowing review for my new agent nextwho not only improved my coverage but reduced my premium below what I was paying before the $1200 increase!How 'bout that!?
