Rented for 7 years, and things got much worse about 5 years in with a new business owner and property manager:-told to leave property for renovations that never happened. The property was readvertised for $30 more per week the following month, and no substantial work had been done.-waited 6 months for some basic repairs-tradesmen sent to the property with no notice at all. Told "that's the way we always do things" and if I didn't like it I could leave when I asked the agent for proper notice-charged for water use that the Residential Tenancy Commissioner says I shouldn't have been. (with invoices that provided no basic detail like quantity or unit charge, and was charged 9 months use for one 6 month period, but staff were unhelpful when I asked to see the original invoice or meter readings.)-demanded improvements to gardens that were almost entirely overgrown weeds when I moved in.A very poor experience, and people paying a business tens of thousands of dollars deserve much better.
