Unfortunately, my experience with Pittman was not at all positive. I called the number onscreen to seek advice on a product supplied by Pittman on their Irish and English websites. The salesperson was very friendly and we agreed a deal which had been advertised and posted on Pittman's website for a number of weeks. I agreed to call back to pay for the goods once I had my credit card details. Two hours later, when I again contacted Pittman, the salesperson advised me that the price had increased substantially. Her manager (Brendan Pittman - owner) had suddenly increased the price as a result of my earlier call. He refused to honour the earlier agreed price and explained that he was too busy to discuss the matter further. It's a pity to see an established Irish owned family business deal in such an unprofessional manner with its customers.
