The store is clean and organized and the staff is very nice, but my complaint is with the buying process. I have worked at a different platos before so I know how everything works. I brought in 3 trash bags of clothes and was told the wait time would be an hour and a half.. the staff member checking me in even said she’s finishing up with the only other buy in front of me. I shopped around a little and noticed while she was still looking through the buy in front of mine but she was spending more time talking to the other staff about their boyfriend then looking through the buy. As I am across the entire store still having to listen to their drama. I am still sitting in the store an hour later from my buy being check in and she has yet to start on mine. I would also like to add there are other factors that can contribute to the length of time a buy takes, but there is only one other person in the store aside from me, so I don’t really know what that would be in this situation.

I will never use this location again. I drove 30 minutes with a box of clothing to sell (which for the record about 90% of it, was clothes I bought from Plato’s and wore maybe once or twice) just to wait two hours to be told they can’t take anything because it’s “too worn.” The lady said they’re looking for athletic and long sleeve, (ITS FLORIDA) mind you, I have nearly BRAND NEW under armor shirts for men that were apparently “too worn.” That’s always their excuse when they never take my clothing. I could probably pull at least 10 items off their first rack that are more worn than anything I brought in. They always advertise that they take “all seasons all the time” but that’s never the case. Stop wasting people’s time if you’re not accepting anything. Go to a local consignment store and give them your business instead.

Horrible!!! You have a young heavy set girl behind the counter all the time telling people Nike, adidas etc are not in demand... We understand your lazy and you don’t want to have to price and tag the clothing, but do that location a favor and start taking clothing that is brand new and stop telling people we can’t accept these right now... hopefully the owner does something about it because he/she is losing a lot of money along with customers. We aren’t the only ones talking about this. We read reviews about this same problem. Time to wake up and fix it.

Some of their prices on some things are a little lamb High a little pricey you know they're exactly what it's worth but they have a lot of name-brand stuff there that you couldn't find that Goodwill or Salvation Army so
