The most friendly border crossing ever. We came into point Roberts by boat and after a few minutes on the phone with the CBP agent, they came down to the dock, mostly to ask about our boat and chat. Second time in here, much better than Friday harbor and the jerk that worked there.

Cycling directions are a little confusing, but overall had a very fast and efficient experience - done in less than 1 minute.

I did my permanent residency landing here. Very friendly guards. got everything done in 20 minutes.

There are only 2 lanes going up to this crossing. The left one eventually splits into two lanes for regular traffic. The right lane is for Nexus pass holders only. The problem is that all the Canadians going into the Point to get gas and groceries and pick up their packages use this right lane to get ahead of everyone else and then cut in line. It makes traffic back up down the hill. Also, they never seem to have both gates open for regular traffic at peak times.
