Feedback:

That my agent I like them they are all way there for me

Feedback:

Rich has been my agent for over 10 years, and up until the last 5 years everything was good.Over the last 5 years, I have a had several administrative errors/issues with the office and as a result, Rich advised me to email him directly for all policy adjustments. The made sure everything was in writing and time stamped. Fast forward to the straw the broke the camels back... Thankfully we moved to written communication, as I had a policy adjustment on Aug 2, 2018, to which I emailed Rich about. On Aug 12, 2018 I found my self stranded on the side of the PA Turnpike calling roadside assistance. Only to find out that the policy had not been reactivated, and that if I wanted roadside assistance I would have to pay out of pocket, on the spot. $330 later... they were coming to help me... THANKS RICH!! So I contact Rich on Aug 13. They admit to being at fault and give me some excuse that he was on vacation and that it went to his email and no one saw it, or no one could see it. I dont know, I dont care - Just fix the problem. I forwarded him the bill - to which he said he would take care of it. Great.Move on to August 27, 2018, I call and leave a voice mail. August 28 - I have not heard from him or his office so I call again. Aug 29, I called at noon and 4pm leaving a voicemail each time. At 5:05pm, a member of his staff calls me, but I miss the call, and call her right back - it goes straight to voicemail. Apparently they have an automated system and at 5pm, whether they are there in the office or not, it goes straight to voicemail. You would think they would have an override for that - but just one more excuse.... August 30 - Rich calls me ..He says "we have not been ignoring you" ... well it sure feels like it as this is day 4.. in a row.. that I have been trying to get a hold of you or your staff. I can only presume the reason he called me was because he received an email from State Farm Corporate indicating my request to transfer my multiple policies to a new agent, or the fact that, that new agent, out of professional courtesy had called him to inform him. My newly selected agent picked up on the 2nd ring to her when I called to vet her, despite having no idea who I was, and her personal practice of reaching out to the current agent in a transfer is highly admirable - it seems I have selected a great new agent. So Rich proceeds to give me the excuse it takes 30 days, and hes been calling everyone, and emailing everyone and blah blah blah. Lots of excuses - but never a reason why no phone calls were returned, or why it was 3 weeks since I submitted him a $330 bill with no updates or any communication at all. So he proceeds to offer to give me his cell phone number. I politely decline, as I inform him I have begun and plan to continue the process of moving my policies to the new agent. He snappily responds "Well your new agent can finish this tow bill then". That's it Rich... keep it classy... continue to act like this is not entirely your or your offices fault. State Farm as a company is a good insurance company. They were able to start and process my application for agent transfer in less then 8 hours - so it seems only Rich's team works at a snails pace. The agents make the relationship great or break that relationship. The administrative errors and technological ineptness are the reason I left this agent. In short - should you select to work with this agent, I suggest you do so in email/writing in case you ever find your self stranded on the side of a highway in August at 1pm. in 90* heat needing to fork over $330 to get assistance.

I stopped here to inquire about transferring all of our policies to this agent...and a woman I spoke to was so annoyed she may have to do work..she was extremely rude. She took a phone call...and when she got off..she looked at me and said, "People are so stupid". No thanks..any other agent will do! 1 star is to much!
