I came one day at this library to open Open Borrowing account and they told me that they cannot do this because I don’t live in Rockaway, I explain them Open Borrowing account is not necessary to reside in Rockaway, just look if the library I’m registered with belongs to the program, and yes it does because I looked online, and this library belong to the same program, but they just don’t wanted. How so, every library that belongs to the program do, they don’t, but is impossible to talk with them. Really, isn’t someone there more healthiest mentally to explain them what does this mean, or you guys do intentional. I’m assume that is intentionally done.

This Library doesn’t lend Books to everybody. I was with my friend one of this days there and they refused her, saying her card was expired. My friend said, this isn’t first time. The same day we went to her library, the front desks lady said isn’t true, what’s wrong with them. Wow, what a time we emigrants got, even to borrow books are not allowed anymore. And we both are citizens for long time. It’s okay, we won’t come there anymore. No wonder why not so often you see emigrants in there. Xenophobic.

They refuse to lend books to people with accent, regardless you have a driving license and you are US citizens. Four time I went to borrow books and they refused me, laying all kind of motives, card was expired, which was not true, Warren county does not belong to open borrowing program, which is not true. I’m not going to come there anymore and I will encourage more emigrants to stop using that library because this is called racist.
