We stayed in Churchill Suites #4 in August and it was very nice. The unit was clean and comfortable. San Juan management was easy to contact and accessible. The units are quiet and walking distance to the shops and ferry. Perfect location of you're a walk on to ferry. Even the beds were comfortable. Master suite had a lovely view of the harbor and a private deck. I loved that they provided box fans as I need the background noise to sleep. I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to lodging. We would definitely returnGreat job.Thank you

We stayed in the Cannery Inn. Great views and clean, but the walls are so thin we could hear the people next to us snoring! We felt like we were staying in a cardboard box.

We chose Elephant House for the views and were not disappointed. We saw harbor seals and porpoises from the deck within an hour of arriving. Mornings brought a parade of boats and ships, some close and others far across the channels. And don't miss the sunsets. The house isn't perfect. It has some creaky floors and squeaky doors, a trickle-to-torrent faucet in the kitchen, and a tiny TV that discourages staying inside and watching movies. They aren't kidding when they describe is as “High Bank Waterfront.” Not a place for walks on a beach or tide-pooling from the house. On the other hand, a small beach is only a couple minutes' walk up the road. San Juan Property Management responded quickly when we needed a light bulb replaced, the only problem we had during our stay. The gas fire made mornings cozy, the neighbors were quiet, and the view made other entertainment unnecessary. It was just right for our small group during some fine fall weather.
