I booked two nights at the Inn to celebrate my birthday. My husband and I did not have dinner due to our late arrival - 10:30 pm - being courteous , we did not want to keep the owners up late so we dropped our possessions in our room and went out to find dinner. Tony gave us a key and said it worked in the front door. Alberta said it is best to use the back door because it is always unlocked. We arrived back at the Inn at 11:30 and found all doors dead bolted - the key did not open the front or back door. The Inn had 4 other guests so we did not ring the bell to be rude and wake other guests. It was Labor Day weekend but we looked for another hotel for the rest of the night but they were all booked. We spent 7 hours sitting in our car waiting, for the owners to wake so we could get our possessions. When the owners awoke we collected our things out of our room and left and went back home - never got the chance to experience the Inn. I have stayed in Bed and Breakfasts all over the United States and have never experienced anything like this. Beware if you stay here there is a curfew that is not written in the details of the Inn.... you might get locked out with no lodgings!
