My name is Kathy Brown and I am the owner of Noteworthy Vocal Studio. I have been in business for over 27 years, both here in Maine and in Baltimore. One thing I’ve observed over these many years is how much advertising has changed. Twelve years ago, after moving back to Maine, I realized that if I wanted to remain competitive in my industry that I was going to need to go digital with my advertising. So I called up my son, and, cashing in on his education, had him build me a beautiful website. I was sure, given the user friendly nature of the site, the fact that it was formatted to work on all devices and because the site was so beautiful that it would drive traffic to my studio. But guess what? None of those things matter if nobody knows you exist. I had done all of the proper meta-tags, asked all of my friends to share my site with their circle of influence and so forth and so on, but the majority of my business was still coming through referral and word-of-mouth. Now don’t get me wrong I’m so grateful for each and every referral, but my goal is to grow my voice studio into a National studio and with FaceTime and Skype it’s a fully reachable goal. After sharing my concerns with my son he suggested that I find a digital marketer. He felt this was the missing piece. So guess what I did? Yep, just exactly what you’d do. I Googled digital marketers and was fortunate enough to find Seapoint Digital. I gave them a call and it just so happened that the owner, Bill Cutrer, answered the phone. Did I need a Digital Marketer? Oh, let me count the ways…we spent about a half-an-hour on the phone. It was the most enlightening business call of my career. While we spoke, Bill took the time to pull up my website and methodically walk me through each page, sighting all of the missed opportunities and explaining to me why they were missed opportunities. Needless to say I.WAS.SOLD! He shared with me the different options his company could offer me both now and in the future and, true to his word, the very next day his senior account manager Courtney Grogan, who by-the-way is a sweetheart to work with, called me to help me set the wheels in motion. Seapoint Digital has been an absolutely fantastic company to work with. We have a lot of clients who need Adword work in particular, and I can't tell you the difference it makes.
