I recently submitted an application to Select. I received a call from them a few hours later saying they wanted to set up an interview. All was good until the lady asked me for my personal information. I proceeded to tell her my info. That is where things became difficult. The woman said that my info was not to be found and my application "got lost in the system".. she asked me if I would like to stay on the line to make a new one, I said no because I thought that was unacceptable. A few minutes after I hung up, I received a text from the agency with a number attached to call. So I called this number and explained the situation to them. The lady on the phone was just rude and didn't even allow me to fully explain the issue to her. I was then transferred to another line with another representative and she was less helpful than the previous women.. she only tried to make excuses on the fact and said that she would disregard my application. I wouldn't recommend anyone to apply here.

The people of Select Staffing in Chula Vista , apparently decided to create their personal site here on GOOGLE , in order to post PHONEY reviews from PHONEY employees , so they can boost their ratings. What they do not realize , is that only someone with half a brain would believe those reviews to be from real employees. To them I say this , you can create whatever you want to boost your ratings , however , the only reviews that count , are those posted here , and the majority are NEGATIVE , because they were posted by people who know the TRUTH about you agency.

I brought my friend in with all her paperwork and they told her it would take no more than 20 minutes. We sat there for 2 hours. The lady in the front desk was rude and went as far as to talk bad about my friend in Spanish thinking we didn't understand. It's Chula Vista, almost everyone speaks or understands spanish. The entire time she did nothing but talk down to her and make rude comments. The phones were ringing like crazy and no one was answering them. She even sent people over to her co-workers that was on her lunch break such a vile and disgusting woman.Edit: I love that everyone else who'd had a negative experience with them got a reply from the owner except for me. Way to make it seem like you care. Wish I could give 0 stars

Very unproductive and unprofessional. Jobs given were emailed wrong times. Wasted gas and energy trying to make sure I was there hours before and still was given wrong information. David C. Wont email me back. This place is a joke in itself.

I normally don't believe everything I read but after my negative experience with this agency I totally agree with all the negative reviews. This agency definitely takes first place for discrimination if anyone who applies does not speak spanish. Last time I checked Chula Vista is still U. S.Territory but unless you speak spanish in order to communicate with the 99% of the people who work for this agency don't expect to be employed by them.

I had a terrible experience with this agency 2 years ago. They did not want to pay my earned wages , and I had to file a formal complaint with the Labor Commissioner's Office. I eventually received my owed wages , plus $500 penalty settlement. My advice to anyone who reads this , DO NOT apply with this agency , unless you are from T.J. or live in T.J. , cause they will always receive preference before Real U. S. Citizens who earn and spend their money in the U.S.A. , to support our great country.
