Roger has been friendly, but an unfortunate error makes it to where morally speaking I have to give a negative review.Through an error they accidentally refunded a large amount. They sent it to someone else who was on my insurance program. (They also told them that it was a discount they were getting and it would come in the mail) That person ofcourse ended up spending the money on something they needed. I was then sent a bill for a large amount (a different large amount than that which was refunded, and because of this it also raised my rate by about 50 dollars, idk why it was never explained. Despite that I was supposed to have a set amount to pay Everytime.)I brought the bill up to the office to ask about it, I was told that it wasn't a bill. I just needed to sign the bottom agreeing to the insurance. (That was my mistake, turns out they had me sign so that I HAD to pay it) I received a call the next week telling me that my insurance was not being cut off, but I had to come by and pay nearly 350. Within the month. (Same month I had already spent my entire savings buying a car, tax and tagging it and buying insurance) The person who received the refund was only able to pitch in about 100 dollars, (70+ less than they received as a refund) I was still forced to pay an extra 200+ bill (from me)I realize that they have no idea how that happened. But I was still forced to pay over 900 dollars for what was originally quoted as 597. During this time I had called the office multiple times over multiple days for weeks and would not receive an answer or a call back about the matter.I would instead letters telling me my insurance was going to be revokedIt was hard for me to get time to go by the office due to my work schedule, but I had to come to the office at least once a week for 2 months. I never saw those refunds. I never got my money back, and I was forced to give them my last 2 pennies and was unable to eat for over a week. I have not left them, but it has dampered my relationship with them, and I feel uncomfortable speaking to them.

Roger Carter has taken care of all my insurance needs for years! I have home, auto and life. He was previously a firefighter for over 30 years in Muskogee before he started this agency. Could not find a more honest man who is willing to do whatever it takes to take care of his customers!!

What I like about this Shelter office is the fact that they care. Someone always answers the phone and is helpful. We are moving out of town this summer and I will keep Roger as my agent just because he goes out of his way to help and answer questions.
