We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Magnificent sunsets over the sound, close proximity to the beach and several tasty restaurants. We spent our days kayaking in the sound and lounging by the pool. I highly recommend this property for your family vacation.

Our family has stayed in several beach areas in the Carolina's but using Shorewood Real Estate and renting Beach Place in Emerald Isle, NC has been the best so far. Having a bathroom for every bedroom is such a plus and the covered deck off the main and upper levels is a delight. Easy access to the beach was a big help for Great Grandma and our Toddler too. The hot tub and swimming pool was such a delight to enjoy after a day on the beach. Beach Place is turnkey ready the moment you arrive. All you need to do is unpack and have fun. Shorewood Real Estate, thank you for keeping us updated and informed.

We spent two weeks at Restashored! The property is wonderful. Perfect house, close to the beach and the pool is fantastic. We stayed there in 2018 for one week and loved it so we spent two weeks this year. God willing, we are planning to go back in 2020. Shorewood kept us informed about our booking and stay. I liked the electronic lock on the property so we never had to worry about a key! Directions were concise and easy to follow. Check-in and out was a breeze.

Our stay was fantastic, coming in right after a hurricane we didn't know what to expect. Everything was fine Sherwood had everything ready check in was a breeze. Rest Ashored is a beautiful home Location is the best, the maintenance people were prompt & efficient nothing major just a few light bulbs& a slow drain. HOPE TO RETURN SOME TIME SOON! !!!

We rented Carolina Clipper West last year and it was great.NOT so much this year. When the drapes are missing in one of the bedrooms and someone throws a comforter over the window it certainly looked tacky. All of the televisions were removed from the guest bedrooms and the one in the upper bedroom had no hook-upNext the main TV in the family room only had one channel and we called maintenance and never heard a word. The silverware drawer fell apart when we went to get something out. The divider wall outside on the deck was laying down in the yard and pieces of the sofit were missingThis was not the same house that we loved so much last year

The island is clean and the people are friendly! We stay a week every year! Dick and Darlene are helpful if you need anything but we always find what we need at the beach!!

When we got to the house, we unpacked and my daughter stayed at the house while we went to the store, a GUY walked right into the house (we didnt even know who he was) claiming to deliver a highchair to us, NOT cool at all! Its a Very nice beach house with inground private pool and I cant complain about the house itself, but whom ever rented the house before us left the grill and the grease from the grill a total mess. The grease was all over the patio, and WE had to clean it before we used the grill, and the grill gas was running out on first use.

This was the first time staying at Apex house. We all enjoyed ourselves. There was so much room. The home is exactly like pictured. The mattresses are comfortable. The house was clean. We had plenty of dishes, pots and pans. The crock pot is gone that was mentioned in a previous review. No problem I would not have used it anyway. It rained for half the week. No problem at all The covered deck was just what was needed. The large TV in the great room was perfect. The hot tub was just what we needed after working all year to enjoy 1 week of paradise. This home impressed me with the lovely decorations and comforts of home. I have already booked for next year.

Very clean, stocked well. Great views from the main balcony. Only complaint was the beds were too firm. Great location, not even quarter mile from a pizza shop, candy store, beach mart, wine shop, and Jackie's American restaurant.

The location of Metro can't be beat. Right on a quiet section of the beach. The sand wasn't once crowded during our week's stay in mid-August. The house has 4 comfy bedrooms on the main level and 3 full baths. It was plenty of room for 3 kids and 2 adults. I think it would be nice if one of the rooms had 2 single beds in it to allow siblings to share a room. There is a basement area to sleep 8 but I wouldn't recommend placing anyone down there as it's musty and very buggy. Maybe in the winter months it's not so bad? The oven doesn't work well at all so don't plan a frozen pizza or fish and chips dinner. You'll starve. These are reasons I took 1 star off. Otherwise the house is clean and comfy. The deck is amazing. I recommend bringing gates or some other barrier if you have a pet or little kids as the deck has 3 openings. The outdoor showers are large and clean (not moldy or bug ridden) so we showered outside the whole week. It's the best way to get the sand off. Arriving after a 12 hour drive to clean linens already on the beds was super appreciated. And there were plenty of clean bath linens provided. Washer and dryer work great! It's expensive to rent but totally worth the convenience and perfect view of the beach and ocean. Thanks for a great week!
