Disappointed! I attempted to buy a plaque from the Rockville, MD location. My issue is with the quote provided to me, which included a $75 rush fee. It was Wednesday morning, but I made sure to send the necessary information that morning to allow for order processing the same day. I sent an email to the store by copying the email from their company website. Then I followed up with a call around 12:30 pm only to find out that they did not receive my email. So I was given another email by one of their employees and sent the email to that address also, but found out later that my second email did not reach them. So the employee then gave me her personal email, which I used to send the information and it finally reached them. However, by that time is was 3:19 pm. Shortly thereafter I received a quote, which I thought was within my budget. When I looked closer, I was viewing the quote on my cell phone, there was a rush fee of $75. So I called the store back and explained that I sent the information in the morning but was told it was their policy to charge a rush fee. I understand charging a rush fee, but took issue with two things: 1) no consideration was given to the fact that I sent 3 emails to submit my order (first one was in the morning) and 2) the attitude of the employee was like "so sad too bad". At that point I decided to try other options, because I never spend money when people don't appreciate or understand that it is an opportunity to provide services to a potential customer who sought our their services. It took me much extra time and some stress, but I found a very nice plaque at an online store. I sent an email request to them at 8:10 pm last evening and received a return call from Paul within 10 minutes. That's impressive, because it was after hours. Paul was eager to help me and was so nice and thankful for my interest in his company. I ordered the plaque and will receive it by tomorrow. No rush fee, by the way. And the plaque cost less with overnight shipping than the quote I received from Signs by Tomorrow. So the moral of the story is BE NICE. I might have paid the rush fee, but did not feel like my business was appreciated.
