The Silver City Public Library is an oasis. Newly renovated with free meeting rooms, a wonderful children's reading area, and cozy computer lab. In a time where what's good for everyone is disregarded, our library is a light in the dark.

It used to be a good library i loved after today and a wi fi box from them that you can only use when its avaiable and only 1 per house and cant rent it till 3 weeks after Im never returning again very un happy person now after this and the parking is bad here you have to park next to houses on the street and that you Dont have parking areas not even safe I am takeing my business else The employee didnt even sorry because of this and I wasted 15.00 on cards for my self and kids to come here they wont be comeing back neither

Very poor parking situation...the parking lot only has about 5 usable spaces, and there are only about 12 spaces on the street in front... Didn't feel comfortable parking in front of somebody's house, so I went across College Ave. to Santa Rita St. and parked in one of two spots by the church that the curb wasn't marked yellow. What does a yellow curb mean? Why isn't the library in an area with parking? It isn't like there isn't any land in Grant County, why bunch up "downtown"?Couldn't use the computers inside, to do my EDX class Vocereum coding exercises, because 3rd party cookies were disabled... There was also some guy mumbling loudly all the time, in the computer area... Very distracting, even if I could have gotten into Vocereum.Gonna check out if there is some way to become "Friend of the WNMU library", and use their computers.Update: Went up the hill to WNMU library, lots of good free computers available there... but there are mumblesthere too- bring your headsets.
