Overall Feedback:
Very unhappy. Used SMI to make a sign for my business. They showed me a rendering which I will admit that I approved but when the final sign was installed it was much smaller than what the rendering led me to believe the sign was going to look like. I had paid 50% upfront and refused to pay the balance until they delivered on what they had shown me. They blamed it on the limitations they had based on what the county/city and the landlord allow for in terms size. The problem is that I gave them the ok to proceed based on the rendering. In the end they sued me for the balance which I lost in court so now I have to pay for a sign that looks like crap. My advice to anyone, make sure you trouble check even triple check with them that what they are showing you is 100% accurate in terms of scale and proportions. I really feel like I got the short end of the stick. I have my proof that I can show anyone. I have the rendering that was emailed to me and of course I have pictures to show what the sign looks like today. Any idiot could see that they don’t look alike. If SMI disputes this with me, I’ll be be more than happy to post both of them for the world to see. I know what I’m saying is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. SMI you could have made this right if you wanted. For you to sue me was BS but thats what your company is, BS and that’s including the bucket.
