I call to report a car that was driving in the centre of two lanes for a while and wrote down the license plate number. When I called they said they got another report and I said do you want to double check the license plate number and she got nasty and said no I told you we have it and she rushed me off. That’s what I get for doing my civic duty

Driving west on rt 72 when a driver in a blue Chevy pickup was tailgating me in the rain. Then he passed me and throw something at my car. So I got his plate number U64 KFJ NJ an called the cops. Also note another driver saw it and said to me if I got the plate and what is is problem. Well I called Stafford police an was told they can't do anything because they didn't see it happen... Very classy. Nice to see they pick and choose what people to go after. Don't work to hard.

I did something embarrassing a lot of us have done throughout the years. I locked my keys inside my car while it was running. Dispatch was receptive and professional. The officer arrived rather quickly for a non emergency. The officer was friendly, respectful, and professional. He was able to unlock my work vehicle and saved me from getting written up at work. Thank you Stafford PD.

By far and away the best police department in the ocean county area. Baarnegat, tuckerton, waretown and tom's river are terrible and half the time don't know what they're doing. That is not the case with the Manahawkin department. Praise to this department for working to change the standard of quality of police in New Jersey and America!!!

Stafford Twp. is an amazing police force. They have worked diligently to create a safe area—and have done so with a serious focus on community policing. Also, their vision for crisis care and intervention is ahead of its time. I'm proud to have this force protecting my hometown.
