My experience with state farm and specifically this office should have the option of 0 stars. I filed a claim because one winter night I noticed water dripping out of my electric panel. I called the Jake Davis office and spoke to a lady who said she would put in the claim and that it was ok to get the box replaced immediately. So I follow their instructions and have the box replaced. A few days later they send an adjuster out to look at the old electric panel, which I no longer had, the adjuster informs me he needs to see it so I told him who the contractor was. A short while later he comes back and tells me they are rejecting my claim because the panel had rust in it, indicating this was a pre-existing condition. Did he look at my panel or someone elses? I dont know. Imagine that though, a panel that was original to a house built in the 60s had some rust. I tried to argue that the water coming out of my panel was not a pre existing condition but the adjuster said no. Did Jake Davis go to bat for me? Nope, never spoke to me, just hid behind his desk. I couldnt even imagine what it would be like to deal with these people if I'd had a car accident or my house burned down, fortunately this wasnt the case.

We have a very large family with lots of teen drivers to insure. Recently my son hit a deer. We were able to get his truck fixed for a low deductible and had him back on the road in no time. All thanks goes to Jake and his attention to my case, as well as his knowledge on the matter. His staff also was very helpful and informative on how to open my claim and even offered to help with the process. I have been with Jake for over 20 years and won't go anywhere else for my home and car insurance needs. I highly recommend Jake and State Farm!
