Great local library!!! My seven year old son loves to come here..... And he is not one who likes to read!The children's area is fantastic. Has a very large selection of picture books and books for young readers. These are also several areas that are kid friendly to get the little guys comfortable and in the mood for a book.I will admit the majority of my time is spent in the kids area. So I can't really comment on the rest of the library. But based on this area, the rest has to be just as good.I love coming here with the family. Definitely quality family time!

The library itself is a very nice place but there not many places to go if you wanna study in peace. They call it their “quiet area” but the librarians scream on the phones & talk loudly to each other. One librarian freaked out on me because I wasn’t aware that my sandwich wasn’t considered a snack & it could damage the historical pieces that are locked up in a glass case.

I love libraries and have worked in the Columbus Metro Library System for years. I know how to give good customer service and what it looks like to receive it, but unfortunately, I did not experience good customer service today at the Stow Library. I obtained a card so we could use materials when we are here in Stow to visit my 98 yr old mother-in-law. I came in today and made the mistake of asking the person at the check out desk if she would check in my 5 dvds so I could be assured the card was cleared before we left the area. "We do not check in items at this desk" was her reply. You can check on line later to see if your card is clear. It would be understandable if there were a line of customers waiting for her to check out their items. However, that was not the case. There was no one in line. Since we were leaving the area, I would not have been able to check online to view the status of my card. I explained that, but evidently, policies are more important than people. It would have taken all of 2 minutes to check in my 5 dvds and let me know my card was clear. THAT would have been good customer service.

Its a great library with alot of reading, listening and visual educational and entertaining material. Also they have alot of educational and fun events on every single week. Staff is super nice !

This library is amazing. They have every book I want and an amazing e-book selection. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facility is very nice and has a very calming and positive energy. Love this library.

This is a wonderful libary and the heart of a community that treasures literacy, author events, children’s chess clubs and tutorials, extraordinarily creative children’s events, teen art projects, yoga and meditation classes, live monthly classical music performances, monthly jazz concerts, exotic food and cultural demonstrations, civic and historical outreach presentations, and holiday celebrations designed entertain and enlighten diverse, multigenerational audiences. They boast bi- weekly one- on-one technology tutorials with librarians who are specifically trained to teach people of every age and competency level computer skills. The Librarians and event coordinators on staff are exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about their community and erudite about literacy.

Super rude staff. I work at a library and would be appalled if one of my staff or coworkers treated people the way they do. I live close but will be using other libraries instead just so I don't have to deal with the rudeness of the reference staff

Great selection and ability to get books from all over the state. Love that you get to keep DVDs for a week before having to return them. I also look forward to the books sales! They are the best!!
