Feedback:
I have been with this company for five years and have needed to file insurance claims twice and found out each time this company was negligent. I could not file the first claim because an agent at superior insurance informed me that I was not insured because the insurance company indicated that superior insurance had not submitted my signed documents to them AND there was a check there in my file that the company had mailed to them because they were drafting money from my account and needed to pay me back because I was not insured during the months I was paying. The second time I needed to file a claim I found out I was uninsured and under informed. I'm in communication with them each time I make an insurance change and am open about what my needs are. However I was told by Travis Mccray that only one person has ever read the entire 65 pages of the insurance declaration. I wasn't asking for an insurance declaration reading. I just thought the advantage of choosing an insurer through superior insurance versus an online company would be to get a more personal touch which would also mean making sure that they communicated my coverage options and assessing what needs I may that I'm not aware of. I'm not just disappointed because their negligence and lack of service cost money. This experience has made me a more informed buyer. I will seek services elsewhere. Addendum- I see the owner has taken the time to respond but he definitely failed to listen. My units policy was canceled well before the incident occurred and they had a check on file from the insurer. I did not find out the policy was canceled until I called regarding the damage to my property. The insurer agreed to reinstate the policy ( even though superio insurance lost my documents) but only after the damages were fixed by the other owners insurance company. Fair enough. It took almost 8 months for restoration to my property to be completed and for me to be able to obtain insurance. During this time period I was not able to rent the property, however if the agent at superior insurance had not misplaced my documents then I could have been able to file a claim with my insurer for income loss during this time. Before this experience I had not had any issues with this company so I offered them grace and decided to go back through them to obtain a landlord policy on that unit. I feel now it was a mistake because based on the comment below they don’t accept responsibility for mistakes. This is so typical of insurance companies because they never have a problem until there is a problem. I wouldn’t take the time to post a lie. Travis McCray May not be the best historian or maybe has a memory that serves his business interests.
