Overall I am NOT happy with the facilities and kind of services.1) The office staff is not educated well enough especially a person named "Angle" to talk in appropriate manner with customers (tenants) and mostly she communicates with tenants.2) She do not listen, she just want to convey what she want to, like a unidirectional robot who knows only speaking and not listening.3) Expensive (high rent) & small size apartments.4) Replacement of Microwave took two weeks.

We Love it here!! The apartments are 10-13 years young; spacious and clean. My wife and 2 grown children just moved here after selling our colonial in Rockland County N.Y. ; that we lived in for 17 years. We were unsure if this was the right decision and if we would find ourselves at home, without a house. I was skeptical at our first meeting with the women who ran the leasing office. They all seemed nice.the women turned out to be as genuine as they come. Irene guided us to the perfect apartment. The other women were warm and welcomed us to be part of The Commons family. The location puts at at arms reach to Rockland County and to Rt.17 with access to every store known to man and (Woman). Easy travel commute to N.Y.C and all major highway destinations. The apartments are spacious, clean and well maintained. We were greeted and welcomed (you might say spoiled) by Richard and Anthony, who oversees the property. They are at our beckon call to meet any needs that may arise. I highly recommend these apartments for singles, families or couples; young and old There's no place like it in Northern New Jersey. We are on a permanent vacation in Prestigious Upper Saddle River; Bergen County, N.J. Come see for yourselves. I promise you won't be disappointed!!

If you want to absolutely LOVE where you live, then this is the place for you. The complex is conveniently located off Route 17, so you will be close to everything you could possibly need, from grocery stores to restaurants to doctors. Rental office staff are incredibly responsive, on-site just about every day of the week, and kind as can be. If there's ever a maintenance issue in your apartment, rest assured that it will be resolved quickly. We're looking forward to living here for a very long time, and that's never been the case at any other apartment complex. Thanks for everything, USR Commons! This place is simply the best.

I absolutely LOVE living at The Commons at Upper Saddle River! I have lived here for several years and have had only great experiences. My apartment is beautiful. The staff treats every resident as a priority. One example, four days ago (Also four days before Thanksgiving) on a Sunday late afternoon, my oven thermostat stopped working. I called the office and spoke with Irene. I had a brand new oven set up the very next morning! The entire office staff and maintenance team is amazing! Thank you for your attention to every single detail. Happy Thanksgiving!

I am giving one star as they do not allow a cat even..thats a cold uninviting sign. People should pay a deposit and there should be rules like almost every other apt.to avoid any issues. In my exprrience more damage has been done by my children in apts than my pets. Now that I am an empy nester I cannot magine no pets allowed! Too bad ..

If you like your apartment poopied and your stuff stolen - this is the place for you. Apartment Management is very aggressive and violent. They make you feel unwanted.The high ratings you may see is because they are getting the negative reviews deleted. Please check out Yelp and other places as well. They are very abusive. It is disgusting the way they talk to their tenants. I will not be surprised if they physically assault a tenant some day. They are psychos. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE LIVING HERE. I FEEL SICK AND THREATENED HERE.They stole a kid's bike and held it for ransom. AMAZING. (See THEIR OWN response to review below).It is a very sick environment. Management is a willing participant and actively encourages the abuse of tenants. If you have any doubts, get in the pool and you will smell the filth. Have heard that IRENE MARUGGI LEFT DOG POOPIE IN ONE TENANT'S APARTMENT WHILE THEY WERE AWAY ON VACATION. So you see one is putting potty and others are swiping stuff from tenants apartment (see review below). How do you feel about that? . These apartments will be rate 2/5 if they did not get negative reviews deleted.

The Commons at Upper Saddle River has spacious and well kept apartments. It is located near restaurants and shopping centers, and only a few minutes by car from the Ramsey Route 17 train station to commute to NYC. It felt like a daunting task to not only find a nice place to live, but to also have smart and efficient property managers. Irene, Michelle, and Angel are wonderful, as they made this process simply and explained all things in detail before we signed the lease. They were accommodating and really went above and beyond to meet our needs. We were able to get the exact apartment we wanted. Special thanks to them for their patience as we viewed the apartment more than once and they always answered all of our questions thoroughly every time by phone and in person. Very pleased. Thank you USR management.

Management is terrible. I was called about apt being ready at 2 pm on 28 (Fri) and that I could come and sign the lease. 29 was Sat, 30 was Sunday. Gave me no time to vacate the old apartment. I had to pay full 1 month rent at the other place for no need. They say it is their policy to give apt. on last business day of month.Very rude. Apt had many problems, dirty knobs, toilet seat not changed, tub drain jammed. NOT RECOMMENDED.
