I have been reading the reviews and it is making me think twice. Can anyone update me on current living experiences

Feedback:

Star number one is because there is a roof. Star number two is because Wheaton Station is across the street. Otherwise, it's overpriced, very very dirty (mildew carpets in the apartments and hallways). There is no one employed that actually does his/her job. Maintenance and front desk were trained by the Department of Motor Vehicles apparently. They seem to be relying on HUD applicants who get subsidized housing when management couldn't fill the apartments at the asking price. So my assessment of overpriced seems accurate.

Most of the reviews are old but when you actually live here you will know it just gets worse everyday. maybe 1 more year, you can compare this to the Enclave Apartment.

We enjoyed living here- the rooms are nice and there is easy access to many different stores and restaurants. Unfortunately, The Exhange has serious problems with its fire alarms. We expected to get woken up in the middle of the night at least once a month. We decided it was time to move out after a night where it went off 6 times in a row, causing us to miss a day of work

HELP ME TO KNOW IF THIS BUILDING IMPROVED. I see many comments advising not to rent a unit in this place, but all these comments are old. I have heard that there have been improvements in recent times, is this appropriate? Help me before I sign the contract. Thank you

I like this place.. maintenance service very fast and I love the app we pay the rent in the app or request service maintenance thanks..

Maintenance staff is great, amenities are always clean, and I walk out of my apartment door at 8:30 and board the 8:37 train!

I have returned after 3 years to The Exchange, and couldn't be happier (I lived here for 2 years in the mid 2010's).Sherri, Matilda, and Sharon have been so helpful from even before day one and the entire staff have been communicative and incredibly consistent with their level of service.I work in the service industry, and cannot give the Foulger-Pratt team enough credit for the work they do.It's been wonderful returning to this home and seeing that the management and maintenance teams are as stellar as ever. Of course there will be things that come up here and there. Life happens, and every day isn't going to be perfect. What's important is the team and the people who help make it home for so many, and I am very appreciative for all they do.Feel free to reach out for a fuller review of this place - I'm happy to discuss specifics!
