Save yourself from the outrageous rates, constant invoices, which are never ending, and get yourself someone else to do the design work, whether it's web or logo design. We had contacted AJ to create a website and logo for our company and I was quite impressed after the initial meeting. We ended up going ahead with it and it was weeks of waiting for our site to be completed. We also took his advice in using his hosting, HUGE mistake as we had numerous email issues. Finally I grew tired of the constant invoices and having AJ have to find work around solutions for various tasks due to "coding" complexity. I took a few days to look into GoDaddy hosting and a WordPress website. Pulling the trigger I was able to create a 16 page site in a matter of a weekend, in which it took AJ weeks to do, solve the issues AJ claimed having with our site, gave our company more flexibility in control of content and design, and most importantly the CONSTANT invoices stopped. For example, I recently needed a raw file and had asked AJ if he would have a copy of it. AJ took it upon himself to retrieve the file and sent me an invoice at an $82.50/hr rate, which it took him .59 hours to retrieve. This is the type of invoicing you can expect after spending thousands of dollars with him already. I run a company in which we have clients request certain files that were created in the 70's and are stored 20 miles off site that I have happily gotten and never have charged for. AJ's reply for this outrageous invoice I had received.... it took me longer than I thought bc the file was hard to find. Why am I left paying for your inability to store files properly? Save yourself the hassle and money and look elsewhere!
