Sean and a few members of his team (Josh, Tina and Matt) presented for a marketing class that was offered through the University of Buffalo and the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and I attended this lecture recently.The amount of preparation that went into the lesson was remarkable and leveraged the ability to use all of the class member's businesses as individual cases studies. The learning environment that was created was extremely engaging from a problem-based learning standpoint.This method of lesson construction was backed by an expert level of knowledge that allowed for questions from the class to lead into a deeper level of understanding.The team's engagement into problem solving from case to case; also showed the potential power of connecting expert knowledge of marketing to the passions that drive a small business.Connection of passion, principles and purpose to the world can seem like a great mystery to many of us; but Sean and his team definitely have the knowledge and ability to remove that mystery and create solid and meaningful connections to those who will matter most.
