This library is amazing! My kids from toddlers to teens absolutely love it! There are so many children's programs and teen programs that are fantastic. They have a large variety of adult programs as well. Their selection of books is also excellent. It is our favorite library by far. The librarians are all so helpful! The children's librarians remember your child by name.

Lived here for 5 years and had a blast here. Always raced my friends up the steps. Read books with my parents. Went here with my cousins. Always knew everyone. Now I live in Pennsylvania and always will miss this cute 2 story library.

Okay - I don't live in Ocean City, but am a frequent summer and regular 'off-season' visitor and a BIG reader. The plus side - The library is located in a big center that includes the art museum, the history museum, conference rooms for meetings and events, a gym with a pool and a big atrium where you can sit and work and where they hold events and book sales. The library staff always seems friendly and helpful and there are a variety of periodicals, a computer room, quiet study room great for students. 5 stars on that.The minus side - The events calendar is poor. Most libraries and community activity centers have to sell themselves today with events. Here, if you are a kid or if you are a senior citizen, you might find something of interest, but the selection of activities for those 'in between' are few and seem like they are just copying from some other activity calendar handed down by the ALA instead of finding out the personal interests of the community. One star on that.

Who knew that our little Ocean City has such an amazing library! Super friendly staff that was more than happy to answer questions. The second floor was very quiet and had private study cubicles as well as soft cushioned chairs in front of large sunny windows. It was very clean, comfortable and updated. The staff was quick to address any noise issues in a polite and professional manner. A great place to study as well as sit back and enjoy a good book.

I wish every town could have a wonderful library like this one I spend hours reading the papers and magazines. I also borrow books on my IPad and Kindle . Everyone is so very helpful and the website is the best.
