This department makes it own rules. Walk in driving tests are reported by the SCDMV to be accepted up to 1:30 pm. (No ifs ands or buts) After that you need an appointment. This division turned me away at 12:04 and claimed they do not do road tests after 12:00 if it is a busy day or they are understaffed. They weren't understaffed all windows were working with 3 people waiting. I had to take my daughter out of school to get this driving test completed and now her permit will expire before we have a non school day to try again. Also the drive skills instructor was one of the most nasty individuals I have ever encountered.
