Feedback:

Went to the office only to find out that the rumors are true. Ms. Dee is not working here. So I gave my notice to vacate. There was a ball head lady in the office she said she was the regional manager. I telling her I don't have ventilation in the bedroom and no hot water. this lady didn't try to assist me she said she won't be working here much longer so that its not her problem. So yes I am moving, Messes office!!!!

Ms Dee is no longer working here. I am packing my bags. They are letting anyone move in again after Ms. Dee came in and cleaned this place up. The only manger that cares about us tenants. She made living here a better place to live. I went into the office and meet with the clueless Regional Manager what a joke. Me and the other tenants decided that it's time to go. The renovated apartments are screwed up. I ask where do we put linen there isn't a linen closet the new leasing girl took me to another apartment but the linen closet didn't have shelves lol. the floors was bumpy like they are buckling up. i'm moving. out of this place before the drug boys take over again, they are starting already.

I have been working with Layla and Ms. Dee to get me moved into the unit I had my eye on for a while. Layla is an absolute charm and has been very helpful throughout the process. Ms. Dee went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. From the tour and experience with the property staff, so far its great. i will update my review once I move into my wonderful unit.

They're kicking everyone out to "renovate".. don't care if people have no where to go...no help. Then they want offer you a downgraded apartment. I wish we never moved here it was not worth it. The dish washer never worked. The drains stay clogged. They shut your water off whenever they feel like it. The only thing I enjoyed was the layout of the apartment but they're changing that with the new renovations.

I have been living here at the Verona at Silver Hill since June 2018 and I have seen management change and staff change in the office. The staff and management team that they have now are phenomenal. There has not been a time that I have submitted a service request and it has not been answered, or gone in the office and have not been greeted without a smile. I had a problem in my apartment and I went in the office and spoke with Ms. Dee (the property manager) and she made sure that it was taken care of immediately. I have called the office and Ms. Angela always greets me with a smile and calls me by Ms. Hyatt and is always willing to help and never forgets a voice. Omar, Mike and Tommy have always been helpful and willing to fix everything that needs to be fixed and if it needs to be done by a specialist, they will call the specialist. I am thankful for the staff and management team here at the Verona at Silver Hill.

I have been leaving here for past four years and I must say the new Management(Verona) is the worst, they don't think about customers. You asked for maintenance and will take forever, insecurity and insects everywhere. The people at the office will give u the nightmares of your life. Very poor management and rude to people especially those with different ascent, I will never recommend this place, planning to move very soon when lease end

I have lived in Verona of Silver here since 2017. I have seen different property managers and staff come and go. I’m a workaholic so I’m not home too much. Only doing the evenings I’m home. I have had a bad experiences in the pass with old staff with not communicating well and not following thru with maintenance concerns and etc. The parking could be much better. I was so close to giving up on this property. We have had new management since the beginning of this year. I wanna say property manager Ms. D, and two leasing specialists named Angela and Layla have been awesome with communicating and making sure they here your concerns. There doing renovations now and the units are nice for move in. Even tho i didnt get the unit i expected to move in too. I will stick it out for a year and owning a home. I pray the management stays for the long run. I would recommend this complex for anyone looking for a nice apartment home.

Don't do it. This place has been on a steady decline during the 4+ years I have lived here and rent has continued to increase during this time. I am a pretty easy tenant and never complain about the cracks in the wall or slanted floors and have accepted security on site has all but disappeared and even deal with loud noise + weed smoke all night as a given with apartment living but I have reached my breaking point. Water in my apt is being shut off randomly every week. I am lucky to not have had my ceiling cave in or constant leaks like my neighbors but still end up without water on a consistent basis, almost always with no notice. I have had to wash my hands with drinking water too many times to count and go to friends to shower regularly. It is ridiculous to find out your water is shut off by trying to flush your toilet when you pay rent every month! I wouldn't be surprised if this complex was torn down in the next year or two but I know for sure I will not be here to find out. I wouldn't recommend moving to the verona at silver hill!! ?

I’ve been living here since Jan 2019 and I must say that I am truly happy with my choice. The office staff is super friendly and the property manager is heaven sent. Ms. Dee is so down to earth and understanding. My building is quiet and the neighborhood isn’t bad at all. The maintenance staff is awesome as well. Mike , Omar , & Tommy are always there when I need them. The biggest surprise is parking ... I lived other places where parking was an issue but I’ve never had an issue with parking. I plan on renewing my lease. Thanks guys for your awesome service.

With all the recent changes and renovations, I would recommend Verona for anyone in the neighborhood. I admit, I am writing this review as I inadvertently rated the complex lower and wanted to make a correction, but also because the new management and staff take every resident concern seriously and are dedicated to their positions and the community. My only hesitation would be the response time for addressing problems, but even then, just stopping by the front office puts into prospective just how busy everyone is, which is easy to forget as a resident. I also love how welcoming everyone is around here. Just walking up to the apartment, I am greeted by at least two different neighbors daily. It's a nice neighborhood and it has been a joy to get to live amongst such delightful families.
