I have been a client of this agency for almost 20 years and have multiple policies with them. Every time I had to make a change to one of my policies or requested a review prior to my renewal date, they took care of me in a friendly and professional manner. As a former insurance agent myself, I understand the importance of looking out for the client’s best interest. I trust Theodore & Associates to do just that. They have never let me down.

I called Goldsmith Theodore Agency to review my auto and homeowners policy prior to the expiration dates of the policies. I was told someone would get back with me. I called again approximately 3 weeks later and was told someone would get back with me. I called again approximately 4 weeks later and received a message from Eric, the owner of the agency, telling me had reviewed my policies and I should stay right where I am that is not beneficial for me to review policies often and therefore there would be no changes. Before that message, I started shopping other policies. Other agents and agencies were more than eager to answer my questions. I found homeowners coverage that far exceeded what I had with UPC and found auto insurance with slightly better coverage with Allstate for approximately $400 less. Theodore Agency evidently did not want to lose the policies because it has been impossible to clarify that I do not want to continue my policies with UPC and Travelers. I have finally had to go straight to these companies to handle the transition. When contacted to get an improperly refunded check back to Travelers, Eric simply wanted to argue with me on the phone. There was a total lack of professionalism. If these transactions were this difficult, I can only imangine how difficult and confusing it would have been during a disaster.
