Feedback:

Going on 12 hours no power

Feedback:

I had a recent experience with Thomasville Utilities. There was an oversight on my part, but they (specifically Sandra Hayes - Customer Relations Supervisor) went above the call to duty to reach out to me and make things right! Thank you for serving us!

Feedback:

They spike their rates in the Summer months by almost double. Also i pay for the 2nd highest level of internet service that they offer, and while it worked well for about 6 months, now I can barley write this review with my internet connection. There's no possible way to address any of your concerns because they have the rudest staff of any business I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, there's no other option for power.

Feedback:

Not a single real person on the phone to talk to. How can I get service when all the "mailboxes" are full. This town is a joke. Awful service, awful roads, awful utilities, lazy workers, lazy people "working" for the city. I hate it here.

Feedback:

The Contractor should not have to do the power companies job, We are not trained as they are. The contractors responsibility should end at the house. We should not be digging and putting our lives in danger because Thomas, County does not want the add cost. Mind you very time a contractor builds a house Thomas County Power and Water make for the life of that home, and They are not cheap with water or power......

Feedback:

If I could them zero stars, I would! Not helpful, rude and it takes forever for them to restore service if interrupted. The bill is also always sky high despite cutting cable and lowering to the worst internet service possible. Too bad you can’t pick your electric company, I actually prefer Grady EMC over TU, so that says a lot

Feedback:

Thomas County should not keep dodging the cost when it comes to running power to new construction. Contractors or the contractors sub contractor electrician should not and is not trained to go digging around transformer. Contractors and sub contractors are NOT trained to be working with or around this type of power. I am sure any person working in Thomas County with this type of dangerous equipment is trained? We the contractor and sub contractors ARE NOT. Every other County like Cairo takes full responsibility to run power from the house to the transformer. I really hope that a contractor or sub contractor one day dies by working on equipment that they have no knowledge of and end up suing Thomas County for millions. This is all for Thomas County to save money.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now as per Thomasville GA. Power Company the builder is required to compact the area that is disturbed for doing the power company job. But it is really interesting that when the Thomasville, GA. Water department which is the same people, but different department. A few weeks ago they ran a waterline to the property cross the street, and it was really interesting that there was no compact done.I would like to apologize to Cairo EMC. I really thought they were the worst when it came to support and Professionalism, but NOT! Thomasville, GA. power is the worst. Very unprofessional and lazy, lazy people.
