Overall Feedback:
When I first hired Dean Spinato to build and host my website he worked under the company Powerplay International. He offered me free hosting which included editing. A few months later I received a bill for $30 per month. When the company merged with TiedIn Media the following year, the editing was not included in the $30 per month. Prices and agreements constantly changed. At this time, he started giving me very high quotes for editing and content, etc., so I decided it was best not to work with him and found other alternatives for my editing and content creation. I recently tried to migrate my website to GoDaddy with the help of my marketing team. My marketing lady suggested it would make things easier to have full ownership of my website. I took her advice as this is not my field and she was looking out for my best interest. Dean Spinato locked my website files and made it impossible for GoDaddy to transfer the files and clone my website. Dean sent me an email requesting access to my GoDaddy account and my WordPress account so he can clone my website himself. GoDaddy advised me not to give him access because he could possibly manipulate my accounts. Basically, if I did that, it would allow him to have full access to my accounts. I did not feel comfortable with doing that as my personal information and banking information are in these accounts. I asked Dean to do a three-way call with me and GoDaddy so we can clone my website over the phone together and he did not respond to my request. Now I lost my business website and have to rebuild another one because Dean said there is no other alternative other than for him to clone my website himself. I do not recommend this company. You will never have ownership of your website and it will be impossible to migrate it to another hosting company.
