I like the surveys me and my kiddo have done together because it opens into a further discussion of why she feels/thinks a certain way. Payment is not much but I don't mind because the time with my kiddo and learning more about her is worth it ❤️?

I was contacted by this company so my son could participate in a focus group. He's done this several times with several different companies, so we know how it works. During the initial call i specifically asked about about payment. The lady I spoke to say she was not sure if it would be a check or gift card. I received a email 4 days before the group would take place to confirm participation. (Very short notice I had to reschedule my whole week) The night before (Sunday night) I get a call at 9:05 pm from them a reminder for the groups. That's my second issue with them. That call was very late & on a Sunday! My third issue, During that call i asked about our compensation. I was finally informed it would be a check & I was told we would receive it at the end of the session. (That's how every other focus group I've ever been to works you get paid at the end of the session, unless you are doing product test. This was NOT product testing) We arrive at the location on time, no problems there or with the people there. (They have nothing to do with this company, they just hired them to recruit participants for them) I was informed there that the compensation check will be mailed. I then call the contract number is was given to ask about this, I won't mention names but the lady I spoke to was very rude! She said the email said it would be mailed (I wish I could attach a screen shot of the email) No the email did not say that. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me or that she insinuated I was lying about the content of the email or the information I was given. I will now wait and see if we actually receive our compensation within the time frame i was given ( 2 weeks) I will update my review in 2 weeks depending on the outcome. At this point this company has no other reviews so I feel like we have been scammed.
