About a year and a half ago at 19 years old I was an addict in active addiction. Anyways, I was put in the PT holding cell for “trespassing” the police officer that delt with me was neither arrogant or condescending even though I was a heroin addict. They had found a bag filled with paraphernalia on me. But the officer was respectful. He didn’t once put me down. I was in the holding cell crying and the he brought me a tissue and let me out of the handcuffs. I was scared, but the officer gave me a chance to change my life. I went to rehab the next day and got the help that I needed. From time to time I reflect on that day and I have nothing but gratitude and respect for that policeman. I have been clean since then. & I wanted to thank you for your service. You honestly & sincerely changed my life. Thank you.

I was pulled over for not using a turn signal had my car searched without permission found a beer bottle completely dry I picked up out of my yard and was fined for open container I was searched and detained for hours because I didn't provide I'd right away
