The employees here are SO nice. I had a storage unit here for a year (2017-18) and had the best experience - employees holding doors open for me while dropping off boxes every now and then, giving me tours, and helping me make special arrangements. As far as the unit goes, my items were kept in perfect condition. There are several carts they provide for moving at no cost - even a mattress cart! My only (tiny) complaint is that the units themselves are not lit, so it can be hard to see your stuff when you’re looking for something that you accidentally packed. I also had a small flight of stairs to my unit, but my movers (aka me and my brother) were able to handle it. I also used this location for renting a u-haul and the service was fast and the employee who helped me gave me a full run-down of the truck before I left. He even taught me about the tow setting that automatically comes on when starting the vehicle and I remembered that when using my next u-haul. The employees here go above and beyond and really make moving a much more enjoyable experience.

It is always refreshing to work with such an accomodating staff, great manager! This location will let you know your options and be sure follow through. I used their storage facility for months coming from Florida to Pittsburgh and no problems at all.

How can three people who work here walk by but "aren't computer savvy"?? Shouldn't be so hard to buy a box.

Very organized and professional. Staff are friendly and courteous. They make sure all needs are met and take the time to make sure you understand your responsibilities during the time you have your rental vehicle.

If you need a U-Haul in the North Hills area, I highly recommend this location on Rte. 8 to the McKnight Road store. For one thing, there is ample parking here, compared with the minature lot on McKnight. Additionally, this Rte. 8 store has a plethora of supplies to rent/buy, as opposed to the much smaller McKnight location. Friendly, personable employees here as well. I'd certainly return here if I need another U-Haul vehicle.

One of the best larger Uhaul store's around. Staff is very nice and extremely helpful. We were late on two occasions and it was not a problem at all. Reccomended.

I have used this location to move into and out of my apartment. Both times the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. I didn't get hit with any BS charges, and they are one of tge faster places I have dealt with for processing your rental. (I have moved 20+ times)Most importantly, this is a large, well-stocked location. This matters a lot because U-haul frequently lets you rent equipment (trucks, dollies and trailers) that isn't actually available at the pick-up location, forcing you to go to another site to get your gear, which burns through your free mileage count.Of course, you CAN call and get mileage credit. Because who doesn't love waiting on hold to fix a problem someone else caused while driving a 26' truck in traffic.Anyway, this place is great and they usually have everything you need on the first try.
