The only reason they are getting a star instead of Negative Stars is because this is the only way I can leave a review. I AM SICK and TIRED of not getting what I paid for! I have been lied to by this locations employees on more than one occasion! I will leave a brief description of how I was and still being treated. I started sevice with U S Cellular a few years back and I live in the country so I immediately realize I don't have a signal almost all the time of course they want to sell you a booster--(FYI only improved the signal for about two weeks then as they updated from cellular data carrier my booster was zapped so now it doesn't work at all.) But of course it's always the customer is wrong they wouldn't do that!? Then it had to be where I lived, then I needed a better phone, and NO you have to pay more to use my (built-in) hot spot! Yet I bought a new phone everything was great for a total of two months, all of a sudden again after a update from cellular data carrier the new phone was running the speed of less land line dialup. So I asked why they are throttling my data? Answer; we don't do that, you are using all the data and need to upgrade my plan! So I now have a UNLIMITED DATA plan with 22gb of high speed and everything after that will carry speed equal to dialup (FYI .50 mps). And here we are now my data jumps on occasion even when I'm not using by 1 to 2 GB when ever it feels like it. Every month I renew my payment there is always leftover data usage that doesn't get cleared off but added to my next months usage. I was told it doesn't matter it's just a small amount or it takes a few days to cycle back don't worry it will be okay, they would never do that! I have been throttled on my usage to the point I can't even use my phone, but again they don't do that! So I downloaded a app to rate at what speed I'm receiving my DATA ( Mbps) which of course proves that I am being throttled. Not only being throttled but I'm not even receiving the high speed that I am paying for ( WHAT?? THEY WOULDN'T DO THAT) or so they say! I have only a few short hours of maybe a total of 6 for a months service actually received high speed on average of 1.7mbps the rest of my monthly-time is on average of a whopping 0.47 Mbps which is the rate I'm supposed to receive ( or close to) after Data cap is reach. But yet I'm being charged for all data as high speed. Again I was told I have to wait till I cycle out again before it can be fixed. There's nothing they can do because I'm in the throttle mode, you know the thing they don't do!!! WOW!!! I think it's time for everyone to stand up to carriers who practice these ethics! It's time to start a class action suit! If you think this is bad go to u s cellular disclaimer and read how they can choose which apps you can stream by your usage. In other words if you are on any one app to much they can slow down or (throttle) the particular app so you can't use it! Open your eyes America to corporate greed! I want what I paid for and I expect compensation for what I got screwed out of!
