Buyers beware, the sales person we met at our state fair was initially sincere but when it came time to pick up our items he replaced what we agreed to with items we did not want or ask for . After we paid for the agreed items he was supposed to set them aside for us instead he sold them to someone else. We took back our check we gave him at closing time and instead found a reputable dealer and bought a product of superior quality for less than what we agreed to with the”Uncommon” sales rep! Buyers beware of the UNCOMMON Co. They are not reputable!!

Over the last year we have purchased two flag poles, one for us to use in Cheyenne, WY (where there is lots of wind) and one for our son in Oklahoma (where there is lots of humidity). Both poles are great and look great. We also purchased the Christmas tree for our pole and it looks great!Several weeks ago we purchased a Seattle Seahawk flag, getting ready for the upcoming NFL season. The website said it was different than everything I can find online, it was supposed to have "D-Rings" instead of grommets (which might hold up better to the wind we have) and be Made in the USA. When we got the flag, neither was true. This flag has brass grommets like everything else and is made in Thailand. I emailed the website two weeks ago, telling them about the issues and still haven't heard from them. I looked this morning and the website still has the same description on the flag, which obviously is not true.So, in the end, we love the flagpoles but can't trust what the website says on everything else.

Received what I thought was a flag pole and light to find out later that I had a light pole and light. We just finished our house, so the equipment set in my utility room for more than a year. Now that have a place to put a flag pole I opened the box and discovered the error. When I called they said it was outside 90 days and that the order was for a light pole and they couldn’t do anything to assist. Wouldn’t even consider any credit for return to purchase the flag pole. Disappointed that they weren’t willing to work with a customer that actually wanted their product.

I saw Uncommon USA last year at the Pittsburgh Home and Garden show. I told the salesman that I would do some research and see him next year. Well, that was last Friday and I'm happy to say I bought a heavy duty 25 ft. pole and solar light. I dug the hole on Sunday ( 12' x 30' in clay, was not easy for a 63 year old) and cemented it in. Placed the pole in the mount on Monday (easy peasy). Broke the plastic cover for the bottom lock button so I called and they are sending a replacement free. Brother-in-law is jealous.

Uncommon USA is at all the fairs. They are very nice because they want you to buy something. We spent 500 dollars on a really nice mailbox. It was beautiful. One problem is that after 3 years it completely fell apart. The coating on the mailbox has fallen off down to bare metal. I called Uncommon and they pushed me off to the manufacturer who completely blew me off. They said it's salt damage because i'm unlucky enough to live in the Northeast!! If that is a problem they shouldn't have sold it to me. They don't stand by their products--period.

I have had one of their flag poles for over 20 years and it has with stood a lot of high winds and bad weather. I have purchased several of their poles, flags, etc. the quality has always been excellent! Unlike some of the reviews I have found Mark Erickson and his staff are just great! Keep up the great work!

I've had the 20' telescopic pole for many years now, and just put up the Christmas tree addition for the third year now. I love it. Proud to fly flag also.
