We were looking for a web design agency in Oxfordshire and decided to work with Urban Element as we were impressed with the company’s portfolio and Jon’s professional and friendly approach. The web designed exceeded our expectations and our customers find the website informative and easy to use. Urban Element manages the site for us as well as looks after social media and Google Adwords. Both the SEO and organic listing have improved which are the results of the fantastic job performed by the Urban Element's team.

Moving your website to a new developer is never a decision to take lightly. One of our main reasons was that traffic to our old website was virtually non existent. Urban Element pride themselves on ensuring the content and SEO are targeted to attract the right customers. This has certainly been the case for us and the numbers of contacts we receive through the website has increased dramatically. The whole process from initial design through to implementation was done on time, on budget and with appropriate support and communication. I would, and do, highly recommend them.

We have been delighted with Urban Element who created our new website. The experience of designing, amending and approving each stage was comprehensive and efficient and the training allows us to make any changes as and when we choose. The most important thing however is that their extensive knowledge of SEO has given us a website that delivers results. We have had a number of enquiries from exactly our target client which is something that didn't happen with the older version. We'd be very happy to recommend Urban Element, and have, to anyone looking for a new site or a face-lift of their old one.

The following is an expression of opinion:I would advise anybody looking at using this company to think very hard before doing soThey made my life hell for over a year - they disappointed me and taxed my patience and credulity at every turn.From appalling design that had to be redone from the beginning, to deplorable communications eg it took them over a fortnight to tell me that my Project Manager had “left the company” and this only occurred when I enquired what had happened to her. Every time I asked something, it was, “That will be £85 plus VAT….” The impression that I got throughout was that they wanted to do as little as possible for the amount that they were being paid. There never seemed to be a will on their part to work WITH their client to reach a common goal.I wanted a simple website and a members’ area that allowed two levels of subscription costing different amounts. They came up with something that did not allow me to:a) Transfer members from one level to anotherb) Offer initial discounted membershipc) Change the cost of membershipThe only way around these “normal” activities according to UE was to cancel existing subscriptions and get members to sign up again from scratch. I can barely conceive of a more pathetic attempt at subscription management than what they presented to me.It should be noted that I eventually lost patience with them and it took me less than two hours to find another developer who provided me with the website that I needed (including the ability to manage subscriptions) in less than half the time and at less than a third of the cost of Urban Element.I have never given a negative review to any company before, but I have never been so disappointed in my dealings with anyone. If I could give them less than one star I would do so. I could not have a lower opinion of Urban Element and would advise future clients to tread warily…..
