Absolute morons. Went into Ventnor Heights for 15 minutes and they closed the bridge for “flooding” right as I was trying to leave. There was no flooding on the other side of the Dorset Avenue bridge. So basically they blocked me and other cars into the flooded area of Ventnor Heights and wouldn’t let us pass into Ventnor where it was not flooded at all. Walked over the bridge to see if there was any flooding on the other side and there wasn’t, just two moron officers telling us the bridge was closed. Then a cop on the Ventnor Heights side pulled up next to us and told us the bridge was closed but couldn’t give us a legitimate reason then just said “oh I have to go a car is stuck” drove away and parked his car a little further down. Felt like I was in the Twighlight Zone. We eventually had someone come pick us up but this poor elderly couple was still stuck sitting in their car by the bridge. Complete garbage police force.

Car alarm kept the neighborhood up ALL NIGHT. VPD refused to tow the vehicle. Ridiculous!!
