Love this library! They have an awesome selection and the staff is very helpful and kind without making you feel like they are annoyed with you needing help. They are just kind. The temperature stays comfortable and is never freezing so don't worry about bringing a jacket in the summer. They have tables and chairs everywhere to relax and enjoy reading & a cash only bookshop & a drink/snack machine that always has water & Gatorade. The manga section is way too close to the computers in the teen section and a little too low to the ground. That is my one and only complaint. Everything else about this library is perfect.

The Vestavia library is beautiful. I love bringing a cup of coffee and getting some work done. They have an excellent selection of books and movies. After school lets out, some areas of the library can get loud, but it typically is not that bad.

I love this library! Every member of the staff is so friendly and helpful. I am a lifelong library lover, (and a perpetually late book-returner) and this is the first library I've ever experienced, where they seem reluctant to take my late fees, and even try to find ways to help me! The setting is absolutely gorgeous, it is clean and bright, and cheerful in the winter with the comfy seating around the fireplace, nice to sit outside in spring and summer--- has a wonderful children's section and also some nice meeting rooms, as well as small private study rooms.Well done, Vestavia!
