Joined VFW 1503 in 2016 as a life member after 22 yrs AF service flying F-15s (3 overseas combat tours) and T-37/38s. Several friends were awesome hosts and joining was easy with fellow members being quite welcoming. Love the staff, cold beer and bar food at cheap prices and best gun shows south of Dulles Expo!!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!! I can’t even begin to tell you all the screw ups (to where they scheduled over our wedding REHEARSAL & knocked off a whole $250 for hanging a $500 ceiling curtain-that they never even paid staff to hang, I later found out), unbelievable up-charges & then to top it off, to have all of their kitchen/bar staff standing around videotaping all of my guests dancing while laughing at them. An extremely inappropriate and unprofessional venue. I usually do not leave feedback, but for the extreme lack of professionalism and money they charge to use this facility, I deemed it necessary. I have numerous vets in my family/friends and I expected to get so much more from the VFW themselves.

We love Friday nights here. We also have experienced breakfast on the weekends. Excellent on food, staff and service. You cannot beat the portion size or the cost anywhere else you may think to go.

Great place for friday night dinner and Saturday and Sunday breakfast. The staff is great and very welcoming. If your looking for a cheap place to eat they are the one. They also have an event hall which works well for any event and they are the cheapeat around.

My First & Last Experience is well worth it to me a Life-Long Federal-DOD Government Worker & on behalf of my Grandson an Active Duty Soldier returning home for Christmas Holidays to join together with his Family & Friends. Reaching out to nearby VFW's in the local area. Asking basic questions, inquiries about room accommodations for the return of my son from active duty to share some time with his family.The other location called at Occuquan VA - In giving my train for calling to look into accommodations for 50-60 Response back for four(4) hours $350.00 with a $200.00 deposit. Open dates are:At the Dale City VFW in Dale City - the receiver of the call identified herself as Sheila. Which in hearing her - I assumed very seasoned however after being told - the room to accommodate NO More than 50 she could possibly make some arrangements. But before this she would have to see you.Taken back after this - further said to me this particular facility made me feel less wanting to pursue this location. A VFW for Veterans - Military should model the culture for solders & families EVERYWHERE.Personally - I would not recommend nor support this particular location for any Servicemen & or his family.
