Despite the lack of directional signage when you arrive at The Visitors Center and despite the nasty New York woman who mans the phone line, our tour was phenonminal thanks to Arthur and Richard our tour guide and bus driver.

Phenomenal experience on our wedding day. We got married on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Red Maple Vineyard in the Hudson Valley. We booked 2 school buses through Julie at West Point Tours to pick up our guests at Courtyard Poughkeepsie and Hampton Inn New Paltz, to transport them to and from Red Maple Vineyard. Julie was very helpful in assisting us figure out what times the buses needed to arrive and depart, and was very patient with how many changes I made to the schedule. We also mailed in 2 bus signs to be placed on both school buses to help guests find which bus to take. Julie sent us the names and cell phones of both drivers, which we gave to our bus captains. On the day of the wedding everything went so smoothly and as promised. The drivers were was on time, the signs were on the buses, and it was a terrific experience. We almost booked a transportation coordinator, and it saved us about $1,000 to just book the buses and create the schedule ourselves. So glad we did! The school buses worked great, but if you have a long ride, their coach buses were also quite affordable. Highly recommend Julie and West Point Tours!

I wish I could leave two separate reviews for this company. The first review would be for the actual tour itself, which was given by Gerry, an experienced, personable and knowledgeable guide. The tour was exceptional because of her. This is not an open campus where you can simply wander around and it has a great deal of history which she imparted clearly and with passion. I highly recommend the product West Point Tours is selling and would clearly give it five stars. At the other end of the spectrum was the pre-tour customer experience. They want you to make your reservations online at their website, which is fine, except that for some reason they stop taking reservations at noon on the day before the actual tour. Good luck trying to reach a live person. I tried several times and was unable to do so. What was even more unforgivable was that the company did not return any of the three messages I left, so that I could be sure to buy tickets for today's tour. I would give their customer service zero stars. In sum, my message to the consumer is to take this tour and see this beautiful campus, but reserve early online, or by no later than noon the day beforehand, because they don’t value customer service, don’t return calls, contrary to saying they’ll do so, and in the end you’re unlikely to receive customer service from a human being.
