We contacted Terry Tuszynski of Windermere on Lopez Island to ask questions about one of her listings. Even though we had never been to the island before and couldn't visit for several months she answered all our questions and encouraged us to contact her anytime. Several months later we did just that and she was just as friendly and inviting. She helped us make ferry arrangements and met us at her office. Then she gave us a multi-hour tour of the island which she clearly loves, and took us to several properties, patiently waiting for us even though it was clear to her that we were just beginning our search and were not ready to buy. She impressed us with her knowledge and frankness regarding some challenges of island life, and her insight eased our anxiety. Terry really exemplifies the island's reputation of being super-friendly, and if we decide to buy on Lopez, she will definitely be our agent.
