Printing paper is too expensive. Good with bad...there is plenty intertainment for your kids while u read or catch up on any personal work

A great resource. Computer access and free WiFi for library clients. Has a ton of books, obviously, but also DVD's, audio books, plus can order in any books they don't have available. Copying, faxing, emailing, all in one convenient place. Elevator to the 2nd floor. Restrooms available. Children's area and special activities. Bright and cheerful place. Very helpful staff.

Very helpful and courteous staff. I love that Southern Illinois libraries have a lending system, so if Wood River doesn't have what you're looking for, another library probably does. The library is in a wonderful Mid-Century Modern building that has retained most of its original features and design (pink bathroom!).
