Feedback:

DO NOT USE......HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN !!I am sad to even have to write a bad review on a local business, but I just have to do this because this is shameful. As a way of supporting a local Yorkville area business, I ordered 5 banners from Joe at Yorkville Sign for our non-profit private university. I expressed to him that this would obviously lead to more business from us because I wanted to support a local small business in my hometown. I took him a sample of our existing banners and explained that I need them to be the same color on both sides, which he acknowledged. After a few months, I finally got the proofs emailed to me, which I approved. After calling for weeks, he advised that they were done and I could pick them up. I picked them up in a rolled up condition and paid for them immediately, $500.00. When I took them back to our location, I noticed that they were only blue on one side. I immediately called him and advised him that they were supposed to be blue on both sides. He acknowledged the mistake and advised that he needed to order a different roll of material to fix it. After months of no returned calls, I stopped out at his mess of a shop and he advised that he did not have the money to pay for the new roll, so he needed to finish up a few other jobs to have the money to order my material for the banners. Again, months of not calling back or responding to emails, he finally answered when I called from a different number that he did not know. He said he had the material and they would be done in 3 days. Again, he goes missing in action and no return calls. I finally talked to our legal department and they advised to take back the wrong banners and leave them with him. I stopped out at his shop and he still does not answer, so I left them in his shop. Go figure, he now responds with an email that states he is not in a financial position to fix the banners. We have more communication with him now because he had some other banner samples that he had of ours that we have asked back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY......YOU WILL LIKELY LOSE YOUR MONEY....I WISH I HAD READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS.

Feedback:

I will say that Joe worked very hard to get my design right for my boat lettering. The working hard, however, ended there. First, he was a week late on the printing. When we got the lettering, we ran into two problems: (1) it was miscut (slicing through letters) in a few areas and (2) it didn't stick properly. We immediately contacted Joe and he said he would reprint it promptly. Then the excuses started - he had a defective roll of vinyl, oops he forgot, he had a fire to put out....one after another. Then we were told it would be done that afternoon. That was the last we ever heard from him. When I emailed to say I was coming to pick it up, he never responded. Or answered the phone. Or the door. Thank goodness I put it on my credit card and was able to file a complaint & get my money back! I would recommend anyone else who has had problems with Yorkville Signs to do the same.

***BEWARE***DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAMMER! I gave him money... Didn't see him for four months. Finally after begging him, he showed up, put the sign up with pieced together materials. One month later it no longer lit up. Two months later, the face of the sign fell off the building.I had another sign company come (since Joe never returns phone calls or emails) and they said the electronics were used and not rated for outdoor use. They also said the face of the sign was not built to standards and the edging piece (that was supposed to hold the sign in place) was built by a grade-schooler. Now I'm out over $2,000, my sign doesn't light, there's no face on the sign and I have a big eyesore on my building. This guy is BAD NEWS! STAY AWAY!!!

Feedback:

Horrible feeling giving someone money for a service and getting nothing but lies from them. Order $12000 Led message board that was supposed to be installed by October 1st here it is middle of November and can't get an answer from them. Won't answer calls or emails and when I stopped by the owner is never there. I don't know how a person can run a so called business out of a 100 year old barn. Place is dirty and run down. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. I hear he has done this before too take in a lot of business and then move away and change names of the company. Just hope no one falls for this con-artist lies like I did.

Feedback:

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Sign was delayed months on install, After 4 months of sign being up half of sign went out and has been out for 9 months and they wont come out and fix it, even though its under warranty. They don't answer there phones and don't reply to emails. Next step COURT!
