Great location and so many activities to do! Yosemite Valley Lodge bar restaurant and facilities could definitely use some improvements or a face lift but you don’t come here for the hotels. You come for Yosemite wildlife!

Pricey but great. There is nothing better than hiking Yosemite and then being able to sit back relax and soak in the scenery.

Issue is that there is only two places to stay in the park so your stuck with dingy decor, low light, dark and semi clean rooms. And this after they say they just updated the rooms. Hate to have seen them before.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Rooms are great with 2 double beds, coffee (including decaf) great shower, lots of room and I’d happily recommend it. The staff in the restaurant, reception and generally were great. It is a great base for hiking and has easy access to easy, medium and hard trails.
