Burnt af would have been brought into the attention of management or staff if there were any to other people while I was in left because of lack of service it took us 30 minutes just to be served in a restaurant with four other people. Wont be going back.

Just enjoyed a very nice lunch with my parents on the way home from the cottage.The Anchor has been around forever, but it has been under new management for a year or so.With an eye to local ingredients, the Anchor offers a reasonably priced menu of flavourful offerings with enough variety to accomodate everyone. It includes all the items you would expect like burgers and sandwiches and salads, but include creative twists with added ingredients to provide a unique meal.I had a maple walnut glazed whitefish salad that my Mother had been raving about for the hour previous to our arrival. Delicious! Dad had a bacon and gouda burger that disappeared at a fairly quick rate. He loves that the fries are "not greasy". Mom cleaned the maple walnut salad dressing off the plate.Locally the Anchor is popular and can be quite busy. If you are visiting from out of town, be assured that you will have a fine meal whatever you select.They have great butter tarts as well.... Thanks Denise!

This hotel is very simple, but has all the great amenities. Rooms were very clean and had all necessities. Staff very friendly - family operation. Thank you from all of us. we had a great breakfast and dinner on arrival.

Relaxed atmosphere, fun and stylish interior, great dish!Slightly agro waiter wasn’t impressed with me for sticking to water for my drink. She seemed pretty nice to her grandkids though - could not have been happier to see me leave. Who knows what that was about, lol.

33 bucks for a dry 8oz with cold dry "mashed" potatos, cold 1/2 onion and 3 broccoli pieces that were kissed by the steam for maybe 2 seconds and called mixed vegetables. My girlfriend ordered the stuffed chicken with prosciutto .... There was no prosciutto found and nothing stuffed .... Sysco level 2 food at level 5 prices.... Seriously the food comes from Sysco. The Shiraz was good.
