Client Review on Aydlett Insurance Agency

Feedback:

We hold a mortgage on a property we sold in Harbinger. The buyers are supposed to maintain insurance on the property, and we are named as the lien holder. They let coverage drop, and when my wife called Aydlett Insurance after getting the notice that coverage had been dropped, she was told by Autumn Melson that the coverage had been reinstated. However, she didn't tell us that it was again dropped (not sure why) shortly after that, and for about 8 months, there was NO coverage on the property we have an interest in, and we got no update from Aydlett Insurance. When we finally found out that coverage had again been dropped as we were looking for something else unrelated, we contacted Aydeltt Insurance again, and Autumn Melson told my wife that it was being reinstated, and we would be getting the declarations to prove it, "in a few days." After more than a week went by, my wife called her again to inquire. She was told it may be a little longer. Another TWO WEEKS went by and yesterday, she called again, only to get reamed out by Autumn Melson... apparently for bothering her with this, and Autumn Melson actually hung up on my wife!! I called right back, and spoke to Autumn, who then started in on me, and actually hung up on me too! Then I called right back, and got another person.... also a Melson... who took my information. I told him what I thought of Autumn Melson's approach to all of this, and how unprofessional she was. I also told him that if I didn't get the documentation before the close of business yesterday, my next call this morning was going to be to the State Insurance Commissioner! Funny... within a few minutes, the policy declarations that Autumn Melson said were not available, were in the email inbox!!! Aydeltt Insurance is without a doubt, the most unprofessional insurance agency... or for that matter... "professional office" that I have ever dealt with!! We handle a lot of properties, but I wouldn't go to them for insurance no matter what offer they might make. Stay away from them!! Bad, bad, experience!!! Unfortunately, I had to give them a single star just to be able to post this. They don't deserve one star!
